Have you heard of the power of the intellect tree or sacred blue lotus? These two plants have been utilized for centuries in Indian and Egyptian cultures for their lucid dreaming, mental clarity, and slightly psychoactive properties. They are non-toxic, organic assistants in opening your third eye and third eye chakras!

Two Plants to Help Open Your Third Eye

Celastrus Paniculatus, a vine plant known in India for the power of its seeds, deeply enhances your cognitive abilities. It is best known as the “intellect tree”, providing mental clarity and sharpness to those who eat the seeds or oil produced from the seeds. Unlike most medicines that have this effect, the seeds of the intellect tree relax and calm you, and the effects kick in very quickly. Many Indian students take Celastrus Paniculatus daily for its ability to stimulate heightened mental concentration and focus. Due to the mental clarity and sharpness, the intellect trees seeds are great for opening your third eye through meditation.
It is also known for its power to induce lucid dream states! Those who have taken it report amazingly vivid dreams as well as control over their dreams – the ability to lucid dream. Celastrus Paniculatus will also help with dream recall, allowing you to remember your dreams for longer and in greater detail due to its properties of improving memory.
Celastrus Paniculatus is non-toxic and can be taken by eating the seeds (start off with 5-10 seeds in one sitting and increase as needed each subsequent day) or by consuming the oil produced from the seeds (begin with 5-10 mg first and increase as needed each subsequent day).

Nymphaea Caerulea, an Egyptian water lilly known as the sacred blue lotus, is known for it’s mild psychoactive, dream-like effects. Most link the feeling that comes with consuming blue lotus to the feeling of opening their third eye chakra. Ancient Egyptians used the blue lotus as a symbol of rebirth after death, and Buddha considered the blue lotus to represent the victory of the spirit over the senses. After drinking blue lotus tea, you may notice your head and body feeling comfortably warm, along with a sense of heightened awareness, making it the perfect concoction for meditation. Lightworkers seem to enjoy blue lotus for its ability to easily raise your vibrations and utilize psychic abilities. The blue lotus also facilitates lucid dreaming, allowing you to control yourself and your dreams. It can be taken in an extract (begin with 5-10 drops), but it is more commonly consumed as tea, using freshly dried buds. For tea, steep 2-3 grams in hot water for around ten minutes. The blue lotus can also be made into or soaked in wine!
Always remember that these aren’t quick fixes to open your third eye – they are meant to assist you on your path to open your third eye through meditation and clarity of mind.
