Low pH can affect your ability to be self-aware!

Everyone should have their blood pH be around 7.5 for their bodies to properly function. The ejection of acidic pH can be found in the renal and respiratory systems with the respiratory being the most effective system in removal. Breathing is, of course, a large part of meditation and the search for the inner-self. According to a study published by Alireza Farnam, there is an association between the respiratory system and ones psychic apparatus in relation to emotions.

If you have a low pH blood level and become very excited, very angry, very scared, etc., you could experience alkalosis. Two things happen when alkalosis is triggered: your ionized calcium levels drop and the blood vessels in your brain constrict. When your ionized calcium levels drop you temporarily lose feeling in your hands and around your mouth and lips and your muscles could also spasm.

This is obviously off-putting, but the very important reason to keep your pH blood levels high is due to the constriction of blood vessels in your brain! This lack of blood to your brain makes you dizzy and lightheaded, and can obstruct understanding and perception.

If you have an anxiety disorder, are prone to irritability or obsession, are in love, a dependent relationship, depression, or grieving, this blood vessel constriction can heavily impede your ability to become or remain self-aware and balanced! Without these things, it’s difficult not only to meditate, but can also imbalance your chakras! A higher, more alkaline blood pH is shown to increase positive brain functions. Those with a high pH will be more perceptive, aware, focused, and have better memory.

So, How Can I Increase My Blood pH?

When I asked my sister Christina, through medium Pamela Aaralyn, how to prepare myself to talk with her, she told me three things: Meditate at least twenty minutes a day, get a good nights sleep every night, and don’t eat crap! Watch what you put in your body! Try to eat organically, drink high pH water, avoid junk food and sodas, and simply watch what you take in!

Foods you do want to eat include dark leafy greens (kale, spinach, etc.), vegetables (cauliflower, cucumbers, onion, avocado, etc.), fruits (bananas, melons, grapes, blueberries), almonds, chestnuts, seaweed, and of course alkaline water (try Alkalife TEN Alkaline Spring Water, pH 10. I love it!!). After sticking with high pH foods and drinks you will notice a difference in your energy and mental capacities- there will be more of both!
