Astral Projection For Beginners: Five Tips

By: Ginny Marston

Astral projection is a term used to describe a willful out-of-body experience, or OBE. It is considered a from of telepathy where the soul or consciousness, which is the “astral body”, separates from the physical body and can travel outside of it through the universe. When this occurs you may feel a vibration all over your body and hear a buzzing noise. You may see things such as symbols, lights, or shapes. Those who have experienced it describe it as an awesome feeling, or a feeling of peace… no stress, anxiety, or fear.

Try out these tips as you begin to try to astral project:

  1. Meditate or ensure that your body is entirely relaxed. Work your way from your head to your toes or up from your toes to your head, relaxing and releasing tension in your body. Relax your mind to a point that you feel calm and peaceful. You will feel your mind begin to relax and your body will feel lighter and looser.
  2. Certain tones, intensities, and pulses can be used to induce OBE. Using mind altering tones and intensities in conjunction with monaural beats, binaural beats, and Isochoric beats, have been shown to initiate the event. (These tones can be found on youtube).
  3. Have no fear. You are linked with an umbilical cord between your astral and physical body referred to as the ‘silver cord’. You are completely safe and cannot lose your way.
  4. Try different times of the day where you may be more relaxed and have a better chance of astral project such as in the morning when awakening, after meditation, or before falling asleep.
  5. Visualize yourself climbing. The higher you climb, the more you are shedding your physical body. As you are leaving your body you may feel a vibration as you shed the physical self. You can also visualize a white line and as you reach and grasp the line it is pulling you out of your physical body.

Astral projection can last from a few seconds to a few hours. Eventually you return to your body and your consciousness, as it must return to the body left behind. To return to your body envision yourself being pulled back in. You may feel a sense of dizziness when this occurs but it will subside as your body finishes merging. There is so much to discover and experience…from the universe and beyond…

mommaAbout the Author: Hello, my name is Ginny. I am originally from Long Island, NY but now live in beautiful Florida. I am a Registered Nurse, a healer by nature. Having worked in trauma, I have been with those at the time of passing as well as given comfort to their families. As a child and teen I exhibited special gifts but they faded as my life journey went to raising a family and having a career. It wasn’t until my Grandmother, and then Father, passed that I yearned to be able to see and speak to them to ensure they were at peace and to tell them the things that I wished I had when they were here on Earth. On October 10, 2016, I tragically lost my youngest daughter, Christina. This led me to ‘go down the rabbit hole’ with my grief, pain, and the empty place in my heart only Christina could fill. The note that I laid with her was “You will never be alone as at the time of your death a piece of my heart died with you.” Many of my spiritual friends began to reach out to me, I began to look for signs she was still here with us, and channeled my energy to go back in time to renew my gifts so that I could not only speak with Christina, as I had with my other passed love ones, but to also learn more about her new journey. Christina’s and my journey are just beginning and I hope to share not only my journey with her but how you too can connect with your loved one. Follow us on Facebook!
